Autoscope DEMS - A programmable detector expansion module used with a DEMM (Detector Expansion Module Master) distributes outputs from the Autoscope Terra Access Point (TAP) or RackVision Terra products to more slots in a detector rack or Input File.
The Autoscope Detector Expansion Module Slave (DEMS) is used with the Detector Expansion Module Master (DEMM), provides a simple solution to wiring detector outputs to a NEMA TS1, TS2, Type 170, or 2070 cabinet where access to the detector input termination points is limited or when the controller software cannot reassign detector inputs.
Each DEMS distributes up to four additional outputs from a TAP or RackVision Terra units. The DEMS connects to the DEMM with a simple RJ-11 jumper. Placing DEMS modules in the appropriate detector rack slots provides desired controller inputs. One DEMM supports up to four DEMS modules that can distribute up to four groups of four outputs in the cabinet. The jumper matrix on the DEMM module is easy to customize for detector outputs to match the current detector rack or Input File configuration.
Output LEDs provide an additional visual indicator of the demand for service to the controller from the Autoscope® TAP or RackVision Terra unit. Three-position switches: "Auto" for normal operation, "Off" to disable output and "Test" verify's proper output configuration.
