Econolite today announced that Company President and COO David St. Amant will retire at the end of 2016. St. Amant will use the last half of the year to complete current projects and help Econolite successfully fulfill the management transition plans for his successor.

St. Amant joined Econolite in 2002 as President and COO, immediately overseeing the Company’s global operations. St. Amant drove the continued development of strategic partnerships and operational excellence, ensuring Econolite Group delivers best-in-class products and services, raising the bar for ITS solutions.“I want to thank David for his leadership and enthusiasm for quality and innovation, which has positioned the company for continued growth. In 2016, St. Amant was inducted into the ITSA Hall of Fame. He is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors for ITSA, and prior to that he served as Chair of Business and Policy Council. St. Amant served as Chair of NEMA, Transportation sector. He is one of the founding members of the ITS America Leadership Circle, as well as a founding member and co-Chair of the Mobility Transformation Center – University of Michigan Leadership Circle. He is a member of the Vehicle-to-Infrastructure Deployment Coalition (V2IDC) Executive Committee and Chairs the ITS America Legislation Steering Committee.
