I am a recent college graduate and previously interned at a nearby city. I had the opportunity to join Econolite’s engineering team as a Software Quality Assurance Intern. I was welcomed to Econolite with purpose-driven work culture, not to mention an outgoing and supportive team. Two months after graduation, I advanced to a full-time Technical Support Engineer through a smooth transition. I started Econolite as an intern. I obtained my internship through the organization STEM Advantage. I interned at Econolite for almost 2 years before I graduated with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and was offered full time employment. As a first-generation Hispanic female earning my degree and position was important to me. Econolite helped me gain an understanding of transportation engineering. I was able to learn and experience so much as an intern that the transition from intern to full time was smooth. There is still much to learn, and I look forward to growing with the company.”
