Econolite Systems, Inc. (ESI) provides Toll Facilities Maintenance Services at the seven state-owned toll bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area. The scope of services includes assisting BATA with comprehensive management and maintenance services of assets, including equipment and facilities, located in toll bridge building facilities, on bridge approaches, and on other bridge-related facilities on a scheduled and as-needed basis.

As part of the project, ESI was required to perform evaluations of all assets at each Toll Plaza. Assets were placed in a report detailing the condition and recommended upgrades. Asset information included location, serial number, name, manufacturer, warranty, product description, and condition. Asset replacement or upgrade recommendations were included with potential new device information. Reports were generated to detail assets, conditions, and all device information and included pictures and drawings.
