Traffic Signal and Roadway Lighting Maintenance Annual Contract

The County of Charlotte (County) contracted with Econolite Systems, Inc. (ESI) to assist in performing routine and urgent traffic signal, roadway lighting and flashing beacon maintenance and repair work in all areas of the County. Traffic signal maintenance and repair work consists of providing all labor, tools, material, equipment, incidental supplies, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) for routine signal maintenance, minor signal repairs, adding or relocating signal displays, signal wiring, installing, replacing, or relocating pull boxes, replacing and/or relocating pedestrian pole assemblies, rebuilding electrical services, and any other urgent repairs.

Roadway lighting maintenance and repair work includes troubleshooting lack of power at luminaires, replacing lamps, fuses, fuse holders, lightning arrestors, and ballasts, repair of a specific load center circuit and components, replacement of conduit and/or conductors between roadway lighting pole installations, replacement of light pole installations and/or load centers knocked down by vehicle crashes or for service reasons. This includes all labor, equipment, materials, MOT, vehicles, trailers, and components necessary to replace the roadway lighting installation on its existing foundation and/or load center installation.
