Napa traffic upgrade efforts reached a new milestone recently as Actelis deployed its hybrid-fiber connectivity solution. This project took place at key intersections throughout the City of Napa, California. Actelis’ local partner, Econolite, ordered and installed the solution to modernize the network. Together, they completed an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) upgrade at some of the busiest locations in the city.
Napa, CA
Actelis has announced that its hybrid-fiber connectivity solution was recently deployed in the City of Napa, California. Actelis’ local partner, Econolite, ordered and installed the solution. Together, they completed an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) upgrade project at some of the busiest intersections in the city.
Enhancing City Infrastructure
The goal of this deployment was to modernize the existing traffic network. Because Napa experiences high traffic volumes, reliable connectivity is essential for the ATMS to function correctly. Specifically, the hybrid-fiber solution allows for high-speed data transmission without the need for expensive and disruptive construction.
Econolite handled the installation to ensure the technology integrated seamlessly with the city’s current infrastructure. Consequently, Napa now benefits from improved intersection monitoring and data flow. This allows for better management of traffic patterns during peak hours.
