In 2009, Centracs quickly became the gold standard of Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) for urban traffic signal control, now with well over 50,000 intersections under control and 400 customers. The Centracs Mobility Platform provides the next technological evolution of how transportation services will be delivered including all of the advantages of cloud-hosted software in a secure environment.
This offer includes the essential features of your current Centracs 2.x environment plus Signal Performance Measure (SPMs).
Econolite has been hard at work pulling in the rich features of Centracs developed over the last 15 years into Centracs Mobility. We’re not quite done yet, but we’re getting close. Over time, more and more features will be added to Centracs Mobility that will allow you to easily step fully into the new world, on your terms, without missing a beat. In the interim, we will continue to support your Centracs 2.x installation to ensure you have the best of both worlds.
The Centracs Mobility architecture provides many opportunities for innovation not available in the client-server framework. Centracs Mobility is feature-packed and can readily be expanded to meet your needs. The following table provides features available today versus features that are on our near-term roadmap.

We often engage in development activities to meet our customer needs. We can do this as a direct contract, partnering on grant opportunities or even through a public-private-partnership. Please ask your Account Manager to put you in Contact with our Business Development Team to explore these opportunities.
This is simple. You’re a valued customer. We appreciate your loyalty to Econolite and want to show you how much we appreciate your business.
We’re making this offer essentially at our cost to cover initial setup costs, hosting fees and continued SMA support for Centracs 2.x. You will receive a discount for the balance of your SMA and will need to pay for setup costs and hosting fees. It will be more than your SMA, but not significantly. Of course, selection of additional features not included in this initial offer will, of course, increase these number.
A commitment to a minimum three-year term. Longer terms are, of course available. Anything over five years will receive steeper discounts.
We obviously want to retain you as a customer, but also have very real costs to cover. We will make every effort to renew the term, but will need to throttle bandwidth and will eventually need to shut down the Centracs Mobility service is left unpaid. However, Centracs, as a perpetual license will always be available to you.
No. While all good things will eventually come to an end, the beauty of this offer is that it allows you to determine when you want to retire Centracs 2.x putting complete control in your hands.
Yes. So long as we receive a new purchase order dated before the end of the year. You will also receive a prorated discount for any remaining value of your SMA, so it makes sense to take advantage of the offer sooner rather than later.
Of course, and welcome to the Econolite family. If we’re still in process of integrating, we may ask for a small change order to cover the setup costs. In regards, to the software maintenance agreement offered, we would propose terms like the above.
