Econolite Systems, Inc. (ESI) is providing the City of Sunnyvale with complete traffic signal maintenance services for 133 signals throughout the City. Services provided include ongoing and regular field preventive maintenance and repair of traffic signals, 18 In-Roadway Warning Light Systems (IRWL), four Changeable Message Signs (CMS), Speed Feedback Signs, two Rectangular Flashing Beacon Systems (RRFB), five flashing beacons, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components and other related equipment.

ESI is also providing preventive maintenance services on all traffic signals, IRWL, RRFB, speed feedback signs, CMS, and flashing beacons systems on a quarterly basis, in addition to an annual preventive maintenance check and an annual inventory of all components of each traffic signal, IRWL, RRFB, speed feedback signs, CMS and flashing beacon systems. Additionally, ESI is providing and maintains emergency service response of the City’s traffic signals on a 24-hour a day, seven days per week basis, including all holidays.
