Econolite COVID-19 Response Letter
Company Statement — March 2020
Dear Econolite Customers and Business Partners:
As a National Emergency was recently announced, we wanted to reach out to you directly. Specifically, we want to share the extra precautions we are taking to minimize the spread of this virus. The health of our employees, customers, and partners is our highest priority. Therefore, we are taking proactive steps to minimize exposure for everyone in our community.
Effective March 9, 2020, we restricted all non-essential travel. In addition, we are canceling or postponing non-essential meetings and workshops. We are encouraging our team to use video conferencing instead of face-to-face meetings. This restriction remains in effect until April 30th. At that time, we will reassess the situation based on current health guidelines.
Our employees receive regular reminders regarding CDC guidelines. Furthermore, we have instructed staff to stay home if they experience any respiratory symptoms. Because safety is critical, we have made telecommuting an option for specific positions. Please contact your doctor if you experience a fever or have been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19.
Our business remains strong. We are currently reviewing our supply chain to provide high-quality services and products. Because we were proactive, we have already begun expanding our inventory. We are communicating with our suppliers frequently to mitigate any adverse impacts. Consequently, we are confident in our ability to maintain transportation industry safety standards for all our clients.
We appreciate your understanding and support during this situation. Finally, we wish you and your families good health, always.
Sincerely,
Abbas Mohaddes President & COO
