Advanced Detection Technology
EPIQ RADAR combines FMCW radar technology with an HD camera for visual validation. Consequently, it delivers accurate tracking of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists under all lighting conditions. In addition, it covers approaches up to 275 meters with just two sensors.
Therefore, the system supports adaptive traffic signal control and priority strategies. Additionally, it enables critical safety features like dilemma zone protection and red-light running mitigation.
