Project Overview
In 2026, Bloomington selected Econolite’s Centracs® Mobility as its cloud based ATMS platform. The system is deployed within a secure, SOC 2–compliant environment, ensuring reliable operations and strong cybersecurity protections.
Bloomington’s transportation network experiences frequent traffic fluctuations due to commuter patterns and Indiana University events. Therefore, the City required a system that supports real-time adjustments, remote access, and advanced analytics.
This deployment aligns with other regional efforts such as Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) systems, which enhance coordination across transportation networks.
Deployment and Installation
Econolite partnered with Traffic Control Corporation (TCC) to deploy the system across Bloomington’s signalized intersections. In addition, American Structurepoint provides engineering support and system training.
