Project Overview

Econolite maintains detailed records and provides professional supervision for all City-owned and operated traffic signal assets. This administrative care ensures transparency, accountability, and full compliance with City standards. In addition to traffic signals, our field responsibilities extend to intersection safety lighting. This focus is critical where lighting systems are integrated with traffic signal poles or shared electrical service cabinets.

Managing these shared configurations requires a nuanced understanding of electrical systems. Therefore, our technicians use a highly coordinated approach to ensure uninterrupted service and public safety. Each signalized intersection under our care receives thorough maintenance, covering the traffic signal controller, the cabinet, the service cabinet, and poles.

This effort aligns with broader safety initiatives such as video detection and safety enhancement projects that improve multimodal operations.

Deployment and Installation

Our ongoing field tasks involve servicing all appurtenant intersection equipment. For example, our crews maintain pedestrian and vehicle signal heads, flashing beacons, detector systems, and video detection cameras. We also support CCTV systems, wireless vehicle detection systems, and both copper and fiber optic interconnect cables.

Furthermore, our team services wireless communications equipment, Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP) systems, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units. We also ensure the full functionality of static, dynamic, and internally illuminated signs associated with traffic operations. Consequently, these efforts keep Eastvale’s corridors moving smoothly and safely around the clock.

Similar large-scale deployments, such as traffic signal system programs, demonstrate the importance of maintaining and upgrading intersection technology.
