RANCHO CORDOVA & SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA – ITS Integration
Econolite Systems partnered with the City of Rancho Cordova and Sacramento County, California to deploy a comprehensive Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) integration. This project included traffic signal system enhancements, advanced communications infrastructure, and field device upgrades to support real-time monitoring and optimized signal timing.
Project Overview
Rancho Cordova and Sacramento County required a modern traffic control system to improve signal operations and support future mobility goals. Econolite implemented the Centracs Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) as the backbone for signal timing, remote monitoring, and incident response. Field hardware upgrades and a secure communications network completed the integration.
