Econolite Systems is currently under contract with the Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) to manage and maintain equipment located at seven toll bridge facilities and on bridge approaches located throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
On-call maintenance tasks have included maintenance or enhancements of: changeable message signs, fire suppression systems, roadside and barrier-mounted signs and structures, indicator lights, mechanical gates, air conditioners, generators, delineators, server and IT facilities, and surveillance cameras, along with monthly toll plaza surveys and inspections.
Additionally, Econolite performed a System Assessment to identify toll facility equipment in disrepair along with recommendations for toll plaza improvement projects. The System Assessment included a five-year upgrade plan, baseline report, and a transfer report. BATA uses teamEpro, Econolite’s maintenance management system to track inventory, preventative and remedial maintenance, and repairs of equipment.
