The Mobility Tech Suite covers everything from transportation planning and prediction to on-site traffic management. Discover how Umovity combines software and hardware to optimize the entire mobility value chain.
Mobility Tech Suite developments will be unveiled by PTV Group and Econolite under the brand Umovity for the first time this fall. This unified portfolio serves as a true one-stop-shop for traffic planning and management. PTV will showcase ground-breaking features for transportation modeling and multimodal simulation, while Econolite presents highlights in traffic management and ITS maintenance.
Introducing the New Combined Mobility Tech Suite
Umovity is set to present a portfolio that integrates market-leading software and hardware. The Mobility Tech Suite includes modeling, data analytics, real-time management, and on-site operations. Whether used alone or in combination, these products enable cities to make data-driven decisions. Consequently, these tools improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of transportation networks.
Further Development of PTV Visum: Easy Data Integration
One of the major release highlights in Visum 2024 is its integrated Activity-Based Modeling (ABM) calculation. This version offers improved precision and stability compared to other ABM software. Furthermore, it boasts a 100x speed boost in public transport assignments. The software also supports elevation data import for accurate modeling of active modes like bicycles.
PTV Vissim & Viswalk with Econolite Integration
In the area of microscopic traffic simulation, Vissim and Viswalk have received significant speed increases. Notably, engineers extensively reworked the pedestrian simulation routines in Viswalk to enhance parallelization. Vissim 2024 brings exciting features, such as the ability to display lane markings in the 2D and 3D network editor. Additionally, the industry-leading EOS Controller from Econolite can now be integrated into PTV Vissim, allowing users to replicate controller logic effortlessly.
PTV Vistro and Centracs Integration
As a result of the Umovity union, Vistro 2024 now seamlessly integrates with Centracs, Econolite’s advanced traffic management system. This integration fosters a unified approach by bridging signal timing analysis with traffic impact studies. Other new features include emissions calculations and electric vehicle impact modeling.
